Installing An Internal Pocket Door Frame

A common question we receive is "How easy is it to install a pocket door?" the answer is quite simple! In order to work on a pocket door system, you will need to plan ahead and build an encasing wall wide enough to house the door. Generally, standard doors are just 35mm thick, so a 100mm wide wall will usually wrap itself around a pocket door comfortably. If your door is slightly thicker, then you may need to opt for a pocket door system that is suitable for 125mm thickness.
