The range of fully finished internal doors on sale at Leader Online

We stock hundreds of internal fully finished doors, with so many styles and finishes to choose from. Below is a comprehensive list.

Door styles

  • Industrial Style - Our fully finished industrial doors are inspired by the steel-frame Crittall windows which were first introduced in the late 19th century. They are bold, classic, timeless, and full of character.
  • Internal Doors with Glass - Our fully finished glazed doors give your home the upgrade it deserves and allow natural light to flow continuously between rooms. They help to brighten up dark hallways, corridors, stairwells, and various other open-plan spaces.
  • Internal Panelled Doors - Our fully finished panelled doors feature recessed or raised panels and solid, opaque materials. They’re best suited to traditional homes, period properties, and high-traffic commercial environments.
  • Internal Sliding Doors - Our fully finished sliding doors, also known as barn doors, divide your interior in the most seamless, sophisticated fashion. They slide horizontally on a track, rather than swinging on hinges, and are ideal for compact rooms.
  • Pocket Doors - Our fully finished pocket doors can slide all the way into a hidden cavity in the wall until they disappear completely from view and are tucked away (hence why they’re referred to as ‘pocket’ doors). They make your room feel spacious and expansive when open and can be closed easily when required — the best of both worlds.
  • Internal Fire Doors - Our fully finished fire doors are FD30-rated, meaning they will keep smoke and fire at bay for at least 30 minutes. Pre-finished fire doors are ready to hang, a quick and safe option over finishing yourself.
  • Internal Cottage Doors - Our fully finished cottage style doors add a rustic charm to your space. They are available in both glazed and panelled options.
  • Farley Doors - Most of our top-selling fully finished internal doors are Farley doors, and with good reason. The 5 panel cottage design fits into a range of home styles from the traditional to ultra-modern.
  • Grooved Internal Doors - Our grooved fully finished doors feature real oak veneer and decorative vertical or horizontal V-grooves for a clean, modern look. Their linear patterns are a natural fit for contemporary bedrooms, narrow hallways, and home offices, where they can visually elongate your internal walls.

Colours and materials

  • Oak Internal Doors - This is our most popular type of fully finished internal door. Classic and quintessentially British, our oak doors bridge the gap between rustic charm and contemporary design and give your space a premium, warm aesthetic. Their popularity is hardly a surprise, given the heavy shift we’re seeing towards nature-inspired design among UK homeowners.
  • Walnut Internal Doors - Our walnut fully finished doors are adorned with rich brown tones and most commonly appear in luxury new-build flats and houses, hotels, high-end commercial buildings, and boutique offices. They are premium veneered doors built around a solid core made from timber, particleboard, and other engineered materials.
  • Black Internal Doors - Make a bold statement with our black fully finished doors, available in a range of visual styles and glazing options. Black is a versatile colour that can be paired with multiple colours and building materials. It acts as a visual signpost, elevating everything around it, and makes your whole interior look more dramatic and refined.
  • Grey Internal Doors - Whatever vibe you’re going for — whether it’s tranquil, quirky, bold, or sophisticated, or a mix of all four — our grey fully finished doors will help you achieve it. While interior trends come and go, this colour continues to complement contemporary trends and is a staple in British homes and commercial buildings.
  • White Internal Doors - You can do just about anything with a white fully finished door. It can slot into almost any space and serve almost any purpose. Whether you’re a landlord managing a complex renovation project in a block of flats or a homeowner who couldn’t be further from a DIY expert, our white fully finished doors are made for you. Plus, white doors are very low-maintenance, as marks and scuffs are easier to spot and remove straight away.

Glazing options

  • Bevelled Glass Internal Doors - Our bevelled fully finished internal doors feature angled, polished edges and add a touch of opulence to your interior.
  • Clear Glass Internal Doors - Our clear fully finished internal doors maximise the flow of natural light and create an open, connected feel between rooms.
  • Decorative Glass Internal Doors - Our decorative fully finished internal doors feature patterned or textured designs that add visual interest and act as a focal point when guests come over.
  • Obscure Glass Internal Doors - Our obscure fully finished internal doors are designed to distort or blur the view through the glass while still allowing natural light to pass through.

These are some of the most common questions we get from our customers regarding internal fully finished doors.

Why choose pre-finished internal doors?

Because our pre-finished internal doors include a factory-applied coat of lacquer, they are ready to hang. No painting, varnishing, oiling, or staining is required at your end.

The factory finish is applied by our professional team under controlled conditions and gives you a more consistent, even result than you could achieve by hand, particularly if you were under time constraints. There's no risk of brush marks, uneven coverage, or dust settling into the wet paint.

You should choose a pre-finished internal door if you fall into any of these categories:

  • A time-poor homeowner who doesn’t fancy spending the weekend with a sander or waiting for paint to dry.
  • A portfolio landlord managing a renovation project to tight turnaround times.
  • An office manager who is managing multiple door installations across a building and whose expertise doesn’t extend to rollers, brushes, or sandpaper.

However, if you want more creative control over the look and finish of your internal doors and a fast turnaround time isn’t critical, check out our primed and unfinished ranges.

Do I need to paint a finished door?

No, a fully finished door is ready to hang and kit out with door hardware from the moment you receive it.

This is the key difference between pre-finished vs. primed or unfinished internal doors.

Primed doors arrive with a factory-applied base coat of primer already applied, ready for you to paint them in whatever colour you like. Unfinished doors arrive as raw timber and need painting and finishing from scratch.

Fully finished doors skip all of that. The only finishing work you may wish to carry out is trimming the door to fit your opening. We cover this in more detail below.

Can I trim a pre-finished internal door?

Yes, you can trim most pre-finished internal doors to fit your opening.

As a general guide, most doors allow between 3mm and 6mm to be removed from each edge (or a total of 6mm to 12mm in each direction). However, the exact allowances depend on the door's construction and manufacturer, so always check the product page before ordering.

It’s also important to remember that, by trimming your pre-finished internal door, you’re exposing the raw timber underneath. Leaving this timber unsealed could cause it to absorb moisture from the air over time, which could lead to swelling, warping or discolouration at the trimming point.

You can avoid this by sealing the trimmed edges with a coat of lacquer or matching paint before you fit the door. This process only takes a few minutes and protects your door's appearance and performance in the long run.
