What types of 1930s glazed internal doors are available?

Finishes

  • Primed - They have a base coat of primer which has been professionally applied at our factory and are ready for you to apply your topcoat in your chosen colour.
  • Unfinished - They are raw timber, and you can sand, stain, paint, or oil them from scratch. You have a blank canvas to work with.
  • Fully Finished - They have a coat of lacquer that’s been professionally applied by us, ready to hang. No further work is required at your end.

Glazing options

  • Clear - Maximises the flow of natural light, connects different spaces, and elevates darker areas, making them feel more open and expansive.
  • Obscure - Lets light through while blurring or distorting the view. Shapes and movement are visible but not decipherable, ensuring complete privacy.

Colours

Most of our 1930s glazed internal doors come in oak, which has a distinct rich grain pattern and warm golden hue that never goes out of fashion.
